Insurance Inspections
After the 2005 hurricane season, insurers became more concerned about the risks associated with insuring older homes. Soon 4 Point Surveys were being required before they insured homes over 50 years. 4 Points have increased in popularity with insurance companies and now are often required in homes 25 years and older. The Four Point Insurance Inspection consists of the following four major systems of the home: the roof, the electrical system, the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system and the plumbing system. In older homes, the insurance companies want to know the condition, life expectancy and whether any updates have been made of these four major systems.
As a state licensed Home Inspector, I have the experience and training to do this type of inspection.
